Who is Historic Paper Friehs?
We are a team consisting of my wife and myself, at times supported by our two daughters. Maybe you already know me as a collector or you have already heard from me. Always having been an avid collector of historical securities and documents, I have now decided to turn my hobby into a business. To refresh your memories I have included a picture of my wife and myself.

Our company is located in the south of Austria, in a small market town called Preding in the hill country in the western part of Styria. It is near Graz (25 km), close to the Schilcher Wine Trail (near Stainz) as well as the Kitzecker and the South Styrian Wine Trail, which is running near the frontier of Slovenia, as you will probably know. We would be very glad if you could find the time to pay us a visit. This would also enable you to saviour the culinary specialities of the region and explore the beautiful landscape. We are always interested in successful business relationships. Therefore we would be glad to meet any special needs you might have and are always looking forward to receiving your requests.

Historical securities: We specialise in Austrian railroad securities (Austrian monarchy and beyond), US railroad securities and casino securities. We also offer large and small collections or compilations of historical securities covering many areas – e.g. automobiles, shipping, aviation, transportation, banking, different kinds of industry, mining, gold mining, diamond mining, trade, film, hotels, gulf, government bond issues, war bond issues and many more.

Hand-written documents, Autographs and Signatures of emperors and kings, documents with the original signature of the emperor or king, as well as of important figures of politics and music, painters, artisans, poets, writers, film and theatre actors, pop singers, athletes etc.

Austrian emergency money: If you are searching for something special on the paper sector, either for your collection or as an investment we can offer you numerous collections from A to Z., as e.g. original prints dated from 1650 to 1900, copperplate engravings, etchings covering fashion (manual coloration), topography and religion
